During our April PNO, participants will learn about inertia, friction, velocity and acceleration while they use a variety of materials to design, build and test chain reaction machines.

Each PNO starts at 6 pm, is 2.5 hours long and includes approximately 2 hours of hands-on science plus dinner (pizza, juice pouches and fresh veggies). This is a drop-off class, parents and children not enrolled are not permitted to attend. Registration is limited to 18 participants (recommended ages 4+) and starts at $40 each. During our March PNO, participants will build a spy scope and learn how to use forensic tools and techniques to study fingerprints and identify unknown chemicals.

Join Little Beakers for a special 2-hr family event to celebrate everybody's favorite star, the sun! A variety of themed activities and experiments will be available. The event starts at 9 am, the max view (peak partial eclipse) in Orem is 10:28 am. Materials and guidance to build safe solar viewing boxes will be available. The cost is $25 p/child participant, up to 2 adults per group are included at no cost. Open Lab access during the event is included. Space is limited, registration is required.
