All Glowing, 3-D & Optical Camp - And the Eyes Have It! - June 15th - 19th 9:00AM - 12:00 PM

  • Make eye model and learn how vision works

  • Make 3-D and light diffraction glasses

  • Build and test kaleidoscopes and periscopes

Astronomy and Aeronautics Camp - To Boldly Go Where No Kid Has Gone Before! - June 22nd-26th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM OR August 3rd - 7th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Solar system and eclipse models 

  • Star cycles, composition and Spectroscopy

  • Water and air rockets design and testing

Botany Camp - The More You Know, The More You Grow - July 20th - 24th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Make and use recycled planters

  • Create a plant cell model

  • Carnivorous plant investigation

Bots & STEM Camp - Danger, Will Robinson! - July 27th - 31st 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Make drawing, wiggle and solar bots - take home

  • Electrochemistry to power clocks and lights

  • Car designs with highest velocity and acceleration, testing effects of friction with ramps

Chemical Reactions and Explosions Camp **AGES 9+ - Don’t Try This at Home! - July 20th - 24th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Experiment with fire, ice, eruptions and explosions

  • Use real lab tools and equipment to conduct advanced chemical reaction experiments

  • Molecular model building and using standard and digital microscopes

Engineering and STEM Camp - If They Build it, They’ll Have Fun! - June 29th - July 3rd 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Apply engineering process to design, build and test bridges and structures

  • Pneumatic machines, catapults, and roller coasters

  • Crash car designing, engineering and testing

Entomology and Annelids Camp - So, What’s Bugging You? - June 1st - 5th 1:30 Pm - 4:30 PM

  • Earthworm and grasshopper dissections

  • Compare and contrast bugs, insects and arachnids 

  • Sample collection and preparation of take-home microscope slides

Forensic Science Camp offered - Elementary! - July 13th - 17th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Fingerprint, hair and fiber identification techniques

  • Make spy glasses and 3D glasses

  • Conduct mock-up Little Beakers crime scene investigation

Geology and Earth Science Camp - Gneiss, Tuff and a Little Bit Wacke! - Jun 22nd - 26th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Study rock cycle and learn techniques and tools used to identify rock types

  • Erosion, weathering and deposition with volcanoes, glaciers and earthquakes

  • Build a core to crust Earth model - take home

Junior Doctors Camp **AGES 9+ - Did Someone Call a Doctor? - July 6th - 10th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Collect and study DNA - take home

  • Identify and study organ systems

  • Preserved sheep/cow eye, heart, brain, lung, kidney and liver dissections

Marine Biology Camp - Come On In…The Water’s Fine! - June 15th - 19th 1:30PM - 4:30 PM OR July 20th -24th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Dissect preserved marine specimens (octopus, squid, shark)

  • Conduct density, viscosity and acid/base experiments

  • Use standard and digital microscopes to study specimens

Mini-Doctors Camp - Just Take Two Aspirin. - June 8th - 12th 9:00 am - 12:00 PM

  • Brain and heart dissections

  • Standard and digital microscope use, x-ray analysis

  • Analyzing bacterial growth using microbiological media

Mini-Vets Camp - Eye of Newt and Toe of Frog. - July 13th -17th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Animal x-ray and anatomy analysis

  • Cow eye and frog dissections

  • Owl pellet investigation and analysis

Paleontology Camp - Make No Bones About It…This Will Be Fun! - June 8th - 12th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM, July 6th - 10th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM OR July 27th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Make a take-home T-rex dinosaur plaster model

  • Study ancient life across the geologic time scale

  • Giant walk-through non-Newtonian “quick sand”

Science is Magical Camp - June 1st - 5th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Sleight of hand and tricks of the light

  • Magically absorbent polymers and color changing acid/base reactions 

  • Levitate objects using magnetic fields and static electricity

Simple Machines and Chain Reactions Camp **AGES 9+ - Complex Solutions to Simple Problems - June 15th - 19th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM OR August 3rd - 7th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Identify and test 5 basic simple machines

  • Conduct experiments using Newton’s Laws of Motion

  • Design, build and test a Rube Goldberg inspired machine

Tasty Chemistry Camp - Chemistry in Food and Food in Chemistry - July 6th - 10th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Use chemistry to identify starches and acids

  • Study the influence of temperature and air movement on crystal formation

  • Use electrochemistry to power lights and clocks

Volcanoes, Reactions, and Explosions Camp - Stand Back…She’s Gonna Blow! - June 1st - 5th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, June 29th - July 3rd 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM OR August 10th - 14th 1:30 PM 4:30 PM

  • Build glow-in-the-dark volcanoes - take home

  • Conduct chemical vs. physical reaction experiments

 Weather and Environmental Science Camp - It’s Easy Being Green - August 3rd - 7th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM
