  • Glow-in-the-dark volcanoes, chalk, and crystals - take home

  • Make 3-D and light diffraction glasses - take home

Come On In…The Water’s Fine! - Marine Biology Camp #1 offered June 16th - June 20th at 1:30 PM

  • Dissect preserved marine specimens (octopus, squid, shark)

  • Preparation of take-home specimen slides

  • Use standard and digital microscopes on specimens

Danger, Will Robinson! - Bots & STEM Camp offered June 2nd - June 6th at 9:00 AM

  • Solar power bots - take home

  • Electrochemistry to power clocks and lights

  • Car designs with highest velocity and acceleration, testing effects of friction with ramps

Did Someone Call For a Doctor? - Junior Doctors Camp **AGES 9+ offered June 9th - June 13th at 9 AM

  • Collect and study DNA - take home

  • Identify and study organ systems

  • Sheep/Cow eye, heart, brain, lung, kidney and liver dissections

Don’t Try This at Home! - Chemical Reactions and Explosions Camp **AGES 9+ offered July 21st - July 25th at 1:30 PM

  • Use real lab tools and equipment to conduct advanced chemical reaction experiments

  • Apply the scientific method while conducting chemical reaction experiments

  • Molecular model building and using standard and digital microscopes

Elementary! - Forensic Science Camp offered July 28th - August 1st at 9 AM

  • Learn to use real forensic techniques and equipment

  • Make spy glasses and 3D glasses - take home

  • Mock-up Little Beakers crime scene investigation

Eye of Newt and Toe of Frog… - Mini-Vets Camp offered June 23rd - June 27th at 1:30 PM

  • Animal x-ray and anatomy analysis

  • Cow eye and frog dissections

  • Owl pellet investigation and analysis

If They Build it, They’ll Have Fun! - Simple Machines and Chain Reactions Camp **AGES 9+ offered July 7th - Jul 11th at 1:30 PM

  • Introduce and test 5 basic simple machines

  • Conduct experiments using Newton’s Laws of Motion

  • Design, build and test a Rube Goldberg machine

It IS Safe to go Back in the Water… - Marine Biology Camp #2 offered July 28th - August 1st at 1:30 PM

  • Mini boat engineering and testing - take home
